About the role
Your primary objectives will be:
- Perform preventative maintenance to all site assets.
- Use Scada and PLC hardware to assist in fault finding on the process lines.
- Attend to and assist with unplanned breakdowns promptly and professionally.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and improvement strategies.
- Ensure that all maintenance is carried out in accordance with the machine manufacturer's recommended schedule and specifications.
- Ensure you abide by all LOTO procedures and safety regulations.
To be successful in this role you will be required to:
- Perform all maintenance/repairs/Installations with a high regard for the safety of yourself and others.
- Understand PLC logic, VSDs, and SCADA systems (or similar).
- Perform all maintenance/repairs/Installations using appropriate tools.
- Identify faults and perform breakdown repairs to minimize downtime and micro-stops caused by production machinery and equipment.
- Follow instructions effectively and coordinate with all Supervisors and engineering managers.
- Produce high-quality work in a professional manner.
- Maintaining and improving OH&S and overall operational standards in the workplace
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Highly regarded.
- Experience working in the Industrial maintenance sector.
- knowledge and experience in the use of maintenance systems such as SAP, MEX, or similar.
- Have a good work ethic and attitude towards others.
- Experience working with automated systems and ability to fault find.
