You will be involved in project delivery and managing our service department. You will be reporting into the operations manager. Understanding installation and commissioning of all aspects of a smart home and Electronic Equipment is desired, having an electrical/AV installation background, and programming experience in any one-off, either Dynalite, Cbus, Savant, Control 4 or Crestron programming experience is beneficial.This is an important role, you must possess a willingness to learn new technologies and techniques whilst possessing the ability to work to high standards and meet deadlines in a safe manner. Passion for technology and the industry is as important as your ability to enjoy what you do & relate to the people you work with.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPrimarily your daily tasks will be, but no limited to:
- Commission lighting systems as (Dynalite), security system as (Ness -Bosch - Paradox) and CCTV system as (Dahua - ClareVision - Lilin)
- Install and commission Home automation systems as (Control4), multi-zone sound systems as (Triad - Episode - Klipsch), home theater Systems as ( Origin Acoustics - Klipsch - Episode), Projectors and Screen projectors as (Epson - Sony - Dragonfly) and thermo-regulation system as (CoolinkBridge)
- Report to the project manager the installation progress and update documentation ensuring process consistency
- Assist project managers to communicate and meet third party contractors in order to ensure project execution within scope
- Examine, test and troubleshoot faults in the systems or equipment. If need recommission, repair or adjust to maintain the system working under good conditions
- Assist design team to create As-built records when the project is completed
- Maintain/ update documentation ensuring process consistency
- Plan and execute to meet deadlines
- Ensure quality control with Smarthomeworks technicians
- Assist Project Managers in the coordination of project delivery and management.
- Responsible for maintaining SMARTHOMEWORKS' certification with Integration Suppliers, undertaking all necessary training & testing to the highest level
