We are seeking an experienced Electronic Equipment Technician to join our team. As an Electronic Equipment Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of the electronic systems within our caravans and trailers. Your expertise will contribute to delivering high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Position Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Install, maintain, and repair electronic systems and components in caravans and trailers, including but not limited to lighting, entertainment systems, security systems, and climate control.
- Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and troubleshoot Electronic Equipment malfunctions, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to integrate new electronic features and technologies into our products, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to effectively install and repair electronic systems according to specifications and standards.
- Calibrate and adjust Electronic Equipment to optimize performance and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to production staff during the assembly process, ensuring proper installation and functioning of electronic components.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inventory to facilitate tracking and reporting.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in Electronic Equipment maintenance and repair, and recommend improvements as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment and prevent accidents or injuries.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role.
- Certificate III or higher qualification in Electronics or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Electronic Equipment Technician or similar role, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Strong technical proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electronic systems and components.
- Proficient in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Salary:
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 - $90,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
