Electronic Security/ It Technician

STE Advantage is based in Knoxfield Victoria, and works primarily on commercial/ enterprise electronic control solutions, including IT infrastructure.

We are seeking a competent electronic security technician/IT technician seeking to broaden their scope into operational technologies to join our amazing team.

Must have the ability to program and commission complex electronic security and or IT security outcomes.

A competent understanding of networking and virtual environments is also required.

It would be advantageous to have a deep understanding of one of the following: Protégé GX, Integriti, and Tecom solutions.

This is a hands-on role, there will be the use of ladders, installation of security and IT  technologies, and even cabling. This role does have an on-call requirement which is normally 1 in 4-5 weeks.

Requirements;

• ACMA Open license and appropriate endorsements
• Security Registration VIC (or ability to acquire one within 2 months)
• The ability to pass all required security clearances.
• Full driver's license.
• Ability to demonstrate their competent understanding of electronic security and or IT technologies.
