SalarySAPE Industries Pty Ltd is a local integration company based in Townsville. We provide our clients with a unique seamless integration service from the design and installation of the network to the handover and commissioning of IP security systems. Customers of SAPE Industries range from Heavy Industry to Mining and Government organisations. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Security Technician to join our team. The successful candidate must have a can-do attitude and excellent customer service skills. SAPE Industries is a proud family owned North Queensland Business who has a commitment to ongoing training and support for our staff.
Job responsibilities:
- Servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repair of Security Systems
- Installation of CCTV, Microwave and Access Control systems
- Installation of Data Communications Networks, Fibre and Copper
Qualifications/Experience:
- Experience in large IP VMS environments – FLIR, Genetec, Avigilon etc
- Experience with Access Control Systems, Gallagher preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently unsupervised and in a team environment.
- Experience in data and voice cabling including network installation, configuration, fault finding and testing would also be favourable.
- Ability to pass all fit for work requirements of our customer base. Eg Mine Sites
Requirements:
- The position requires you to obtain and hold a QLD Security Licence.
- An ACMA cabling license.
- Must have a QLD Drivers Licence (Manual Preferred)
- Must have a OHS Basic Induction (White Card)
Job benefits and perks:
A Sign-On bonus of $5000 will apply to the successful applicant. (Half on completion of Probation, half on completion of 12 Months of employment)
An attractive wage on an hourly rate plus penalties will be offered based on your skills and experience. Relocation assistance is also offered for the right applicant. The position will include a fully maintained company vehicle, laptop and mobile phone. At SAPE Industries we focus on Commercial & Mining customers not Residential and can offer a diverse range of work. We are also currently trialing a 38 Hour / 4 Day Week with 3 Day weekends.
