The Video Factory specialises in the repair of Home Entertainment & Appliance equipment including TV, DVD, HiFi, Home Theatre Systems, Fridges, Washing Machines, Dishwashers & Microwaves etc.
We coordinate a busy, cohesive team of technicians who collectively cover an area from North Brisbane to Northern NSW in the South and as far inland as Beaudesert out to the West. The Video Factory has multiple vehicles on the road at any given time so the area we cover will vary from day to day.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised, motivated individual who is ready for a new challenge.
Position Summary -Triage Faults
To be able to meet strict timelines, Spare Parts are required prior to attending the first service call on a product. These parts must be ordered in ahead of that call out. Detailed descriptions, photos and recordings are obtained from customers to allow triage on the faulty equipment so ordering parts can be done acutely enabling our technician the best chance of first-time repair.
Training over an extended period of time will be supplied to enable the successful person time to become familiar with product & accurate with their decisions.
Key Requirements of the role -
- Experience in operating in Spare Parts/Service area (or related areas) preferably in Brown (TV) & White (Fridge) goods or technical background in the appliance service industry.
- Be a Team player and have worked in a role where you have been part of a team responsible for undertaking these or similar activities. This is a hands-on role in a busy environment.
- Have worked in a customer service environment with intermediate computer skills.
