The Opportunity
· An exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen for an Electronics Engineering Team Leader to join our Engineering team based in Hindmarsh, Adelaide.
· Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for leading the Electronics team in the creation and development of product concepts. Key responsibilities will include:
· Collaborate with senior management to define the strategic direction of the Electronics Engineering department.
· Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of electronics engineers.
· Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Electronics Engineering projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
· Use software to perform circuit analysis, run simulations, create schematic drawings, and produce wiring diagrams.
· Implement modifications to existing designs and prototypes based on performance in quality tests and customer feedback.
About You
· Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or a closely related discipline.
· At least 5 years' experience in electronic design and development, including hardware and firmware.
· Able to make informed and timely decisions in situations with competing priorities or uncertainties.
· Able to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
· Effective in delegating tasks, empowering team members while maintaining accountability.
· Clear in communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Able to address conflicts within the team promptly and fairly, promoting a positive working environment.
· Sets high standards of performance to ensure a quality product for our customers.
· At least 10 years' experience in electronic design and development, including hardware and firmware.
· Experience with Microcontrollers (preferentially Microchip).
· Experience with PCB Design (preferentially Altium Designer).
· Experience with GIT source control.
· Working knowledge of product compliance within the Automotive and Military market Proficient in Circuit Design, Modelling, and Simulation.
· Proficient in C Programming.
· Proficient in PCB Design.
