Position Overview:
Seeking a highly capable Electronics Layout Engineer to contribute to the development of our Optical Atomic Rubidium Clock. Lead the design of FPGA and Control boards while embodying our company values.
About the Role:
As an Electronics Layout Engineer at QuantX, you'll design, layout, and prototype dedicated boards for our clock. Collaborate with engineers, technicians, scientists, and operations staff to ensure market needs are met. Thrive in our rapidly growing company where your efforts play a significant role.
Requirements:
- Tertiary degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
- Strong background in electronics design and testing.
- Expertise in radiofrequency or microwave signal characterization.
- Experience in FPGA or SDR board design preferred.
- Understanding of thermal management in Electronics design.
- Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation.
- Team player with exceptional problem-solving skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design, layout, and review electronics boards.
- Conduct design analyses, trade-off studies, and system performance calculations.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Contribute to integration and testing electronic systems.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for electronics.
- Assist with system integration and testing.
- Follow and improve configuration management and version control processes.
- Collaborate effectively as an active team member.
