Overview
Looking for a new opportunity in 2024? We are currently looking for a PIAWE Specialist to support our eligibility function by undertaking complex Pre-Injury Average Weekly Earnings (PIAWE) calculations to determine the correct rate of weekly compensation and providing advice to the Eligibility Team, customers, and broader business on matters related to PIAWE.

How you'll make an impact
- Liaising with claims staff, employers and workers as required to obtain the information required to undertake timely and accurate PIAWE calculations
- Calculating, and at times re-calculating PIAWE across a wide range of different claims and clients
- Providing coaching and mentoring to claims staff relating to the best and correct way to approach PIAWE Calculations
- Communicating with clients relating to PIAWE
- Being a go-to point of specialist expertise for legislation and technical claims matters in relation to PIAWE
- High level of workers compensation claims experience or previous experience in a similar role
- Experience and knowledge relating to PIAWE calculations
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Fantastic coaching and mentoring skills
