The role:
- Support building administrative workforce capability through education and training with the Quality, Workforce Capability and Training Team Leader, Outpatient service areas and other relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to the design, development, delivery, evaluation of onboarding, training, education and professional development for Outpatient Administration staff state-wide that is engaging, creative, positive, evidence-based, and suitable for all audiences.
- Confidently deliver training to individuals, teams, and statewide service areas to ensure successful training delivery and business adoption.
- Provide support and advice to the Quality, Workforce Capability and Training Team Leader in relation to training needs and quality improvement recommendations to enhance program effectiveness.

Quality, Workforce Capability and Training Team:
We are excited to be creating a brand-new team. The Quality, Workforce Capability and Training team is a key component within the Outpatient Transformation Program. This Statewide team has been established to co-ordinate and deliver administrative staff training programs and initiatives that will improve outpatient services in Tasmania.
Successful candidates will act as a positive role model and mentor, whilst working collaboratively and positively with team members and staff from all Outpatient Services areas to support and maintain:
- a culture of learning
- positive and supportive learning environments
- appropriate training support and facilities
- ongoing learning and development.
Details of Appointment
Fixed term, full time, day worker position working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 3 Jan 2025
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant

Position Feature:
- Intrastate travel may be a requirement of this role.
Location: Hobart - Tasmania
Salary: $95,393 to $100,067 per annum + 11% superannuation
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
Eligibility:
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
- Previous experience identifying, developing, and delivering training or education activities in a health care setting.
- Hold or actively working towards qualifications and/or accreditation in an appropriate course of study (i.e., Certificate IV in Training and Assessment)
- Current Driver’s licence
