This is one of the fastest growing regional areas in Victoria.The HospitalThis is a growing Health Service which is designated as a sub-regional service and has just received $115 million in Government funding to build a significantly expanded Emergency Department.The emergency department has annual presentations of around 17,000, with 20% being paediatric and an overall admission rate of approximately 25%. The Emergency department transfers about 10 critical care patients a month for a variety of diagnoses including acute neurosurgical, cardiological, toxicological or trauma related conditions.
The PositionOur client is seeking an Accredited Registrar to join their Emergency Department. You will join a FACEM led teaching environment, with proactive support of your training.
- Accredited for 6 months advanced training with ACEM
- 3 months Anaesthetics critical care special skills accreditation pending
- Support with exam preparation from FACEM faculty
