About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Endorsed NP with 1+ years of experience to start practising at the top of their Scope of Practice, to showcase the skillset of an NP, and how NPs are the future of effective, accessible and sustainable healthcare. This role is strictly on a Locum basis and is remunerated at above award rates. Urgent Care Centres and regional hospitals have partnered with NPLS to provide care to meet their needs. The roles we are eager to fill are located in our regional partners such as Southwest Victoria, Northeast Victoria, Metropolitan Melbourne and regional South Australia. Opportunities in Western Australia and Tasmania are often available. These roles are for experienced NPs who are confident and able to manage patients independently in ATS Categories 1-5.

Key selection criteria
- Background in Emergency/Critical Care with Graduate qualifications
- Evidence of superior critical thinking skills
- Leadership skills
- Evidence of current enrolment with AHPRA as an Endorsed NP in Australia
- Evidence of recent (past 12 months) clinical practice and professional development activities
- Confirmation of Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
- Police Record Check
- Working with Children check
- Current curriculum vitae with evidence of specialist or other qualifications
- Driver’s License Photo identification
- Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) prescriber number
- Current Advanced Life Support certification
- All mandatory vaccinations and evidence of health practitioner serology
