Barto Gold is an Australian Gold explorer, developer, and producer who has been operating since 2009 and is focused on gold exploration and production in Western Australia. The operation consists of a 1.8Mtpa processing plant, one active underground mine, two active open pits, with new mines starting in 2024 as part of the companies 5-year plan and a vision to reach 150,000oz/pa by 2028.
About the role:
Reporting to the HST Manager, you will be required to assist, coordinate and execute all aspects of the mine emergency response, including the delivery of Health services and Emergency Response training.
Other duties will include:
- Train and mentor ERT Members
- Conduct Drug and Alcohol screening
- Clinical treatments and compliance
- Support the Incident Management Team (IMT)
- Equipment and vehicle checks
About you:
You must have previous experience as an ESO or similar, have a strong safety orientation, and be capable of developing and fostering a strong team culture and the following:
- Cert IV in Health Care (Diploma in Paramedical Science or above is preferable)
- Certificate III Emergency Response & Rescue or Certificate III Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations)
- BG4 Closed Circuit Breathing Apparatus UG Search and Rescue (Desirable)
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 (Desirable)
- HLTPAT005 - Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing
- MR or HR Driver's License (MUST be manual)
- Advanced Life Support (ALS1 is highly desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
