Emerging Aviation / Drone Consultancy Support Person

Who are we looking for?
We're looking for someone to join our consultancy team and contribute to clients achieving their commercial drone/AAM goals from basic to complex operations. We are looking for someone who has either experience in aviation or a keen interest in aviation and operating drones. Must be willing to learn new concepts and methodologies.
Your day-to-day would include:
- assisting our writers with drafting operations manuals, aviation safety assessments, and applications
- assisting our consultants with creating visual aids and geographical mapping files
- gathering information from clients and other sources (such as legislation)
- researching technical information related to drone technology and control interfaces
- gathering airport and landowner information
- learning about drone regulatory requirements, documented policies and procedures, training requirements, and risk management strategies
Requirements
- Good attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel
- Writing skills, particularly grammar, and spelling, with an ability to write in a clear and concise manner
- Time management skills and the ability to work with moderate oversight
- Ability to translate technical data into easily understandable information
- Ability to take written or verbal information and format it according to established company standards and templates
- Ability to maintain productive working relationships with clients, stakeholders and be a team player
- Good understanding of Australian Airspace
- CPL / IREX - preferred but not essential
- Cert III in Aviation (Remote Pilot) or Remote Pilots Licence (RePL) - preferred but not essential

The role is a full-time position, however, we are open to permanent part-time also
