Reporting to the Training Manager, you will: 

• Deliver innovative learner focused, engaging training, focusing on real life practical skills and engagement, resulting in increased Employability Skills, resilience and motivation for our learners to seek, find and keep a job
• Deliver group-based training which fosters co-operation, engagement and contribution of learners
• Mentor and support learners to apply their Employability Skills as required by the program

The workplace location for this position is our Launceston office, however some travel is required as you will be supporting learners state-wide.

About you:

• Dynamic facilitator with the ability to engage and motivate all learner types at all levels
• A genuine interest in and passion for improving the quality of life of people facing barriers to education, employment and inclusion
• A sound understanding of Employability Skills within the workforce
• Ability to work autonomously with a high degree of accountability - be self-motivated, manage time effectively and set priorities
• Capacity to achieve meaningful and sustainable education and employment outcomes for learners
• Understanding of appropriate behaviours and strategies when working with jobseekers, including those with diverse needs and/or backgrounds
• Exceptional organisational skills with excellent attention to detail 
• Ability to comply with contractual obligation and quality systems 
• The capacity to work on a variety of tasks in a fast-paced operational environment
• The ability to motivate, mentor, engage and be passionate about what you do, have a great time whilst focusing on driving learners towards success!
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• TAE40116/TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or ability and willingness to obtain
