The Role
As the Youth Programs Officer, you will be responsible for developing innovative Youth Programs, seek funding and create strong external partnerships across the Town’s community facilities. Reporting to the Youth Services Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Community Development team members to ensure effective programs are delivered and well communicated.
Our ideal applicant will have excellent time management skills, high attention to detail and have a proactive attitude. Demonstrated ability in the development and implementation of Youth Programs and activities at various facilities within the community will be highly regarded. The preferred candidate will also have a willingness to take the initiative and embrace outside the box ideas. No two days will ever be the same in this position so the ability to multi-task and make decisions quickly is important.
You will be joining the team at an exciting time as the Town embarks on a culture of change with embracing of a wide range of new technologies, a large capitals works program, and a number of other projects that make the Town a desirable place to live and work.

- C Class Drivers Licence
