The Role & The Team
Due to internal team shifts driven by development opportunities, we are currently in search of an experienced HR Advisor to take on the role of Employee Support Advisor, Business Support, under a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
The Employee Support Advisor, Business Support role provides practical people related advice to managers & employees across the full range of HR in achieving their business objectives and service delivery requirements.
As a senior member of the team, you will provide consistent, high quality and timely support, advice and resolution to managers on a full range of operational people matters and conditions of employment including Attendance Management, Performance Improvement Plans, Work Performance Agreements to ensure our teams and leaders have the support & skills they need to lead Airservices in the future.
You will also provide support & development for key Business Support activities & initiatives that look to build organisational culture and leadership standards working as a part of broader CPCO project teams (HR Business Partners, Centres of Excellence)

The Person
You will be an experienced Senior HR professional with proven ability in providing sound HR advice working within a centralised Shared Service model across a full range of people matters in a complex, industrialised, geographically and professionally diverse organization.
The successful applicant will have:
- Extensive experience in providing sound HR advice working within a centralised Shared Service model across a full range of people matters in a complex, industrialised, geographically and professionally diverse organisation
- Proven experience in successfully coaching and developing management capability in lifting their people management skills and abilities
- Assist in ensuring that the team is represented as a credible, business-focused team through influencing the implementation, governance and review of HR processes, policies and procedures in developing effective, consistent & timely delivery of service contributing to improvement of the employee experience across the organisation.
- Proven ability to manage a diverse workload and competing priorities and be able to be flexible and adapt to changing work demands and circumstances
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships including the proven ability to deliver results and solutions for the business while adhering to relevant legislation, policies and procedures
- Strong consulting, problem solving, conceptual and analytical skills facilitating the application of contemporary HRM principles and industrial frameworks to deliver tailored, appropriate and informed advice
- Identify improvements and enhancements with Employee Support team delivery including contribution to developing systems and processes to improve outcomes and experiences for all employees and managers
- A tertiary or recognised qualification in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Organisational Psychology or related field
