Family Centered Support Services is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join us as the Employee Engagement Officer in any of one of our regions, Morayfield, Loganlea, Toowoomba or Stanthorpe . As the Employee Engagement Officer, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment for our employees. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Recruitment and Selection:
Conduct phone screenings and initial interviews to assess candidate suitability.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and requirements.
Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring teams.
Documentation and Contracts:
Prepare and issue employment contracts and offer letters.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and organisational policies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records.
Onboarding:
Facilitate the smooth onboarding process for new hires.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with the department managers to streamline recruitment processes.
Communicate effectively with candidates and internal stakeholders.
The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, an understanding of Human Resources principles, and a genuine commitment to promoting a harmonious workplace culture. Essential Requirements:
Proven experience in Human Resources, with a focus on recruitment.
Experience in the use of Human Resource Management Systems.
Knowledge of the residential care sector and relevant regulations.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.
Knowledge of relevant employment legislation and regulations.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate meaningful insights for enhancing Employee Engagement.
Proactive approach towards identifying opportunities for improving employee satisfaction and morale.
Relevant qualification in Human Resources or related field is desirable.
