About the role:
The Employment and Training Consultant is a dynamic and rewarding role supporting employers, apprentices, trainees, and job seekers achieve their recruitment and career goals.
This position is a combination of business development, coordination of training contracts, recruitment and administration requiring excellent multitasking abilities.
The Employment and Training Consultant will maintain a high level of service and support to host employers, employees, apprentices, and trainees meeting all legislative and contractual requirements.
What you’ll need to be considered:
- Excellent time management and coordination skills
- Ability to work as part of a team in a performance and customer service driven environment
- Sound knowledge of apprenticeship and traineeship compliance frameworks and/or recruitment processes
- Excellent communication and administration skills
- Technology literate including skills using Windows based software
- Ability to use initiative and support team members when required
- Drivers Licence
- Ability to travel for short periods of time
Desired:
- Sound knowledge of employment services or similar labour market programmes.
- Sound knowledge of labour hire and principal employer or group training organisations.
- Knowledge or understanding of indigenous cultures and remote areas
