We have an exciting opportunity for a driven, people-focused professional to join our successful growing team. This position is based in Charters Towers delivering our employment services program. This role involves working with jobseekers, employers, partnering training providers and support organisations to create employment solutions across the Charters Towers region.
Being a smaller locally owned and operated not-for-profit organisation you have the benefits of working in a small team. There is ongoing support and training provided to ensure you are adequately supported to learn this role.
Your main responsibilities in this role will include.
- Facilitate industry connections and employment opportunities for jobseekers
- Provide tailored case management service specific to our clients’ needs
- Facilitate job readiness training for individuals and small groups
- Broker sustainable employment placements for jobseekers within the Townsville community
- Partner with employers to ensure long term sustainable placements for our clients
Our ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, a solution focus and the drive to achieve positive outcomes for all stakeholders. You do not need to have experience in the employment services industry although this is highly regarded.
