Job Coach Caloundra - Generalist Caseload
Job Coach (IPS) Nambour - Mental Health Caseload
We are looking for motivated Job Coaches who are committed to managing a diverse case load of clients with disabilities, helping to build confidence and find employment. We are looking for someone that is committed to making a difference in our clients life, who loves being out in the local area talking to employers and is driven to succeed by targets.
Please note that these current positions are full time contracts until the 30th June, 2025 with the view to extend.
Changing careers? No problem! On the job training will be provided to help the successful applicant grow their Employment Services based skill set.
Your Responsibilities include:
- In Nambour - Working alongside mental health treating teams and professionals to help clients gain and maintain employment.
- In Caloundra - Managing a caseload of jobseekers with varying disabilities from all walks of life, helping to gain and maintain employment
- Empowering our clients by providing supports in resume and cover letter writing, interview training and job carving.
- Reverse marketing and cold calling employers to secure employment opportunities and interviews for clients.
- Achieve monthly individual KPIs
- Engage with and refer clients to other community services and programs to ensure positive growth.
- Ensure DES services meet compliance requirements, individual performance goals and contribute to operational objectives
- Capture and record all data in relevant record keeping systems in accordance with STEPS policies and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience working with individuals in the space of mental health, disability, Youth Work, Community Services, Employment Services or a similar field for the Nambour position
- You will have the ability to motivate and inspire people.
- Be motivated to be out in the local market, liaising with employers and businesses to reverse market jobseekers.
- You will have the willingness to undergo additional training to better assist clients.
- Strong computer skills.
- You hold or have the ability to hold a Blue Card and Police Clearance.
- Hold a current Driver Licence
- 2 x Covid19 Vaccinations
