Say you spend $100 per month at Kmart, Big W or Myer, you can save $260 per year.

Say you spend $100 per month online on anything from EBay to EB Games to Apple (yes, Apple products too!) you will save $260 per year.

So, now you've seen all the benefits of working with Campbell Page and you're interested in being a part of our team, how do you know if you'd be a right fit?

Check out these FAQ's to see if you have the skills and abilities we are looking for…
  • I have only worked in retail and/or hospitality, should I still apply for this position?

Yes!  Whilst you may not have the Disability Employment industry experience, you can bring your transferable skills to this position.  These can include:

Helping People: If you work in retail then your job is to help people making a buying decision.  If you've been successful in retail, then you know how to be of service to other people.  Bring that skill with you and use it for making a difference in the community.

KPI's: Achieving KPI's in retail is common, we would love you to bring that skill to this job.  The reason KPI's are important for us is that if you are achieving KPI's as an Employment Consultant, it means you are genuinely helping people who need your help.  Remember, we are a not-for-profit, so our KPI's are not about making more money for money's sake (like they often are in retail), our KPI's are about helping more people!

However, if you come from hospitality or retail then being in an office environment may be new to you, but that's okay!  Use the skills you have as working part of a retail/hospitality team into our office, and we'll help you with the rest. We'll show you everything you need to know to become a successful Employment Consultant.

  •   I have only worked as a disability or aged carer, should I still apply for this position?

Yes!  Whilst you may not have caseload experience, you can bring your transferable skills to this position.  These can include:

Time Management & Co-ordination:  Managing your time as a carer has been paramount to your success in that position.  Maybe you had multiple clients, and you had to arrange to be at different places at different times, and you did it, right? Bring those time management skills to managing a case-load and you'll be surprised how transferable this skill can be.

Manage Challenging Situations:  Because you've already been working in Disability or Aged Care, you know that this industry can have challenging situations, and no one day is the same!  You can use your skills in deescalating difficult situations and re-framing client challenges.

We know you may need to learn how to work as part of a team in an office because a lot of the work you've been doing has been out in the community. Bring those same skills to your face-to-face meetings with our Disability Employment customers and we know you will be a successful Employment Consultant.

  • I already work as a Job Coach or Disability Employment Consultant, what makes Campbell Page different and why should I work for you?

Because we are the kind of company that you thought you were joining when you started where you are now!

We don't just talk the talk; we actually walk the walk.

We value our employees not just for the work they do for our customers, but we also value every single Campbell Page team member for the individual that they are.  We LOVE diversity, and we will build on your lived experiences to allow you to feel challenged, rewarded and fulfilled every, single day.

Not only will you get all the amazing benefits (as listed above) for working as part of our team, you will also be part of a team that affects real social impact with our range of community services including Womens Refuges, Young Mothers Programs, Indigenous Programs and amazing Youth Programs.

There is no reward bigger than knowing you are a part of this kind of social change.

Because of the variety of disability services and community programs we have at Campbell Page, we have lots of opportunities to grow your career within the organisation, in fact almost 50% of our staff have been with us over 5 years, with many of those staying with us for DECADES.

We think that if you come and join us, you'll want to stay too!

Everyone from our CEO, our Board, to our Managers know that our Employment Consultants are the face of Campbell Page - and we will value you accordingly.

The only question for you now is, are you ready to join us?

Next Steps:

  1. Write a cover letter that tells us what motivates you apply for this position with Campbell Page.  Show us why you are going to be a good fit to become part of our amazing team! (keep it to less than one page)
  2. Write (or re-write) your resume (keep it to 2-3 pages).  As an Employment Consultant you will be helping your customers write their own resumes, so that you can help them get long term, meaningful work.  So, one of the best things you can do is to show us your skill in writing resumes.  Don't worry - it's not about pretty colours and design skills, it's about showing us a resume that shows us your transferable skills and your passion for this kind of work.
  3. Click the QUICK APPLY button on this page and upload your Cover Letter and Resume.

We don't have a cut-off date for this position because we check the resumes every day, so apply as soon as you can, or you might miss out!
