About The Role:
As the Employment Advisor, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between students, community members, and potential employers. You will provide valuable guidance to students on their career paths and help them secure employment both during and after their studies.
Key Accountabilities will include (but not limited to):
- Provide guidance on resume writing techniques (creating/updating), job application techniques and interview skills to BKI students and community members through 1:1 consultation, in person or online
- Facilitate and deliver group induction sessions to advise students of Employment Centre services
- Deliver employment services to students across all campuses, providing assistance in finding employment where requested and facilitating group employability workshops
- Participate in external and internal Career and Job events, expos, forums and networks
- Plan, organise and deliver community employment workshops
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with employers and local industry

- A relevant qualification and/or experience, preferably in the area of employment programs and/or business development
- Experience in supporting students with employment programs to prepare them for employment
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills
- Strong communication and engagement skills, and an ability to build rapport with all stakeholder groups and maintain working relationships effectively

Things we will require from you:
- Relevant compliance documents including Working with Children Clearance (WWCC), current police check, certified right to work documentation, and a current drivers licence
- Certified vocational qualifications and certified transcripts (as listed in resume and relevant to the position)
