Work Able Consulting have been providing Occupational Rehabilitation services throughout regional Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne for 19 years. Our business is highly regarded in the assistance we provide WorkSafe clients return to the workforce in suitable and sustainable new positions.
We are currently recruiting for a Vocational Advisor to join our highly successful New Employer Services (NES) team (due to growth). Your days will involve meeting 1:1 with clients to assist them in formulating and achieving their return-to-work goals. Liaising with stakeholders including insurance case managers, treating health practitioners, and building relationships with employers in your labour market and bringing this together with clear and concise written communication through reports and emails.
You will work alongside our highly dedicated team of Vocational Advisors/ NES Consultants. You will be required to travel to satellite offices to meet with clients and to attend appointments with Treating Health Practitioners to discuss vocational services (with this in mind, a Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle is required and be willing to travel to satellite offices on a fortnightly basis).
To be successful you will possess the following:
- High level organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to build lasting relationships with your clients including adapting your approach according to your clients’ varied needs.
- Strong stakeholder relationship skills (i.e. treating health practitioners, case managers).
- An understanding of personal motivators and how to motivate a range of people
- A genuine interest in people and a passion to work with clients from all walks of life
- Clear and concise writing skills with a high regard for timeliness.
- The ability to multi-task throughout your day / week / month.
- Maybe you come with some employment contacts or you will have a desire to create them
