The Role:
As a NES Employment Consultant for Recovery Partners, you will be responsible for the outcomes of the cases under your management. The role of NES Consultant at Recovery Partners includes the following tasks:
- Placing workers into suitable paid employment with a new employer
- Reverse marketing individual jobseekers to potential employers (includes marketing wage subsidy programs such as JCPP/WISE and the Recovery Partners Job Portal to potential employers)
- Delivering job seeking skills training to jobseekers
- If required, complete Transferable Skills Assessments and Vocational Assessments
- Managing job advertisements listed on Recovery Partners online Job Portal
- Maintaining accurate records, case notes and billing on Vinci
Desirable Experience/ Qualifications:
- Have at least 12 months’ proven track record in placing disadvantaged job seekers with a new employer (minimum of five placements in this period) or are a qualified Rehabilitation counsellor (full member of ASORC or RCAA)
- A background in recruitment, Employment Services, reverse marketing or careers coaching (desirable)
- A good understanding of labour market trends (desirable)
- Excellent written, communication and negotiation skills
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work autonomously and think outside the square
- Driver’s License (access to a pool car is available)
- Support for ongoing study with professional development and CPD opportunities available.
- A genuinely supportive culture with team mentoring (quarterly professional development review)
- Regular social events
- Mobile phone + laptop + access to pool car (as required)
