ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking either an Enrolled or Registered Nurse to join our existing team of nurses Full Time.
DUTIES
Reporting directly to the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for providing a broad range of services including however not limited to:
- High level nursing skills to work autonomously
- Patient triage
- Administering vaccinations
- Iron Infusions (including cannulating) - (prefered but not essential)
- pap smear (prefered but not essential)
- Wound management
- Assist GPs with minor procedures
- Working with GPs t prepare Care plans, GPMP’s, TCA’s, Asthma Cycle of Care, Diabetes Cycle of Care, etc
- Monitoring & maintaining stock levels
- Maintenance & sterilisation of all equipment
- Compliance with the Department of Health & Human Services Protocols
- General administration duties
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
As the successful candidate you will hold a current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills together with:
- Relevant experience as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse
- Current First Aid Certification and CPR Certification
- Current Immunisation Certificate
- Knowledge of Best Practice or similar Patient Management System used in Primary Care is preferable but not compulsory
- Ability to provide effective customer service in a professional manner
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Police check relevant to requirements of role
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
