About Our Operating Services
Gretta Volum Centre (GVC) and Youang Surgery Centre (YSC) (Operational Monday-Friday 0700-2000Hrs).
Both YSC and GVC work collaboratively to provide care for patients undergoing Elective surgery at Barwon Health. GVC has two operating theatres and one endoscopy procedure room. Services are provided to patients undergoing a broad range of surgical and diagnostic procedures with specialties including, Paediatric surgery, Ophthalmology, General surgery, ECT, Plastic Surgery, Urology, Lithotripsy, ENT, Endoscopy, Pain management, Cardio version and Dental. Youang Surgery Centre consists of 4 new theatres covering a wide range of both complex and day case surgery. Our specialities include General surgery, Urology, Vascular, Max fax, ENT, Gynaecology, and Plastics.
About you
As the successful applicant you will:
- Have excellent time management, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate sound clinical knowledge and excellent clinical skills,
- Provide evidence based, high quality care to patients.
- Deliver consumer-centred care that meets best practice standards and in line with Barwon Health requirements
