This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.
To recognise ongoing service in this role, once the successful candidate has served a qualifying period, they will become entitled to a reoccurring Annual Retention Bonus valued up to $10,000 (as taxable income).

- The CMDA is recruiting an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to complement and enhance current services.
- This position will focus on providing physical health care to Consumers in accordance with current guideline relating to physical health care of Mental Health consumers

- Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery board of Australia
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary health care team
- Have a strong interest and the ability to empathise with People experiencing a lived experience of mental illness and substance use disorders and the capacity to relate to consumers in a non-judgemental and compassionate manner
- Demonstrated commitment to work and partner with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander consumers and their families to enhance health outcomes.
- Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills together with willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues and students.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills including the verbal and written ability to communicate and consult with clients, family and/or carers and other health, community and welfare professionals together with intermediate computer skills including use of the Microsoft Office suite
- Demonstrated competence in the use of electronic information systems and the ability to maintain accurate medical records utilising appropriate documentation and entering data related to activity in a timely manner.
- Current licence to drive in NSW
