They are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Energy Markets Analyst to play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of their corporate Energy Markets team.
As an Energy Markets Analyst, the successful candidate will be a crucial part of the client's team, providing valuable insights and analysis to drive strategic decision-making. This role requires a deep understanding of Energy Markets, regulatory frameworks, and economic trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse historical and real-time energy market data to identify trends and patterns.
- Monitor global and regional energy market dynamics, staying abreast of market developments.
- Conduct quantitative analysis and develop models to forecast energy market trends and pricing.
- Assess the impact of regulatory changes on market conditions and advise on strategic adjustments.
- Collaborate with trading and risk management teams to optimize market positions.
- Evaluate the economic feasibility of energy projects and investments based on market conditions.

- Strong understanding of energy economics, pricing mechanisms, and risk management.
- Familiarity with market analysis tools and software.
