We bring our purpose to life via three shared values: We walk the talk, turn over every stone and keep it human.Job DescriptionWe have a vacancy for a Camera Operator to join our highly successful News team in Melbourne.This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, enthusiastic, and passionate individual to join our News division, servicing loyal viewers 7 days per week with Nine’s News Bulletins.QualificationsProficiency with news broadcast cameras, Premiere Pro editing, and Live Cross procedures with Dejero Units.Extensive experience in live news production, demonstrating strong communication, adaptability, and attention to detail.Proven ability to anticipate obstacles, plan effectively, and achieve measurable results aligned with business needs.Collaborative team player fostering open dialogue, sharing ideas, and supporting the development of an effective local team.Knowledgeable in current affairs, emerging technologies, and possessing CASA RPAS Drone Certification.Availability for weekend shifts on a rotating basis, prepared to work 8-hour shifts starting as early as 4am.Additional InformationOur Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion:At Nine, we are committed to fostering a workforce that embraces all aspects of diversity and inclusion and where practices are equitable to ensure our people experience a sense of belonging.
