Job Description
We have a vacancy for a Camera Operator to join our highly successful News team in Melbourne.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, enthusiastic, and passionate individual to join our News division, servicing loyal viewers 7 days per week with Nine’s News Bulletins.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with news broadcast cameras, Premiere Pro editing, and Live Cross procedures with Dejero Units.
- Extensive experience in live news production, demonstrating strong communication, adaptability, and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to anticipate obstacles, plan effectively, and achieve measurable results aligned with business needs.
- Collaborative team player fostering open dialogue, sharing ideas, and supporting the development of an effective local team.
- Knowledgeable in current affairs, emerging technologies, and possessing CASA RPAS Drone Certification.
- Availability for weekend shifts on a rotating basis, prepared to work 8-hour shifts starting as early as 4am.
