About you✅ You are an energetic and creative person who is seeking an Engineering role that makes use of your first principles problem solving and creativity.
✅ You an Engineer with 3-5 years experience post-graduate experience
✅ You have prior experience in working with people in an industrial setting and have great written and verbal communication skills
✅ You have a genuine desire to improve safety outcomes using engineering to provide practical solutions
✅ You enjoy working in a supported work environment that values collaboration and diversity of views
✅ You have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and are eligible for Engineers Australia membership
✅ You are currently an RPEQ or aiming to apply for RPEQ registration within the next 1-2 years
✅ You are an Australian Citizen or a Permanent Resident with full working rights
About the role✅ We are currently seeking an additional engineer to work with our Brisbane team and upskill in our core business areas.
✅ You will be provided with support internally and externally to upskill within our specialist industry
✅ Renumeration is inline with Engineers Australia levels and will be negotiated with candidates based on experience and value
Role key activities✅ Completing Engineering evaluations and calculations relating to securing systems for road, rail, marine and air transport
✅ Development of systems to communicate engineering outcomes to users
✅ Working with our team to review logistics activities at a range of customer sites to improve safety and productivity outcomes
✅ Assistance in incident analysis and failure modes for a range of transport and handling equipment
✅ Supporting our engineering team in the onsite validation testing of our load securing systems
✅ You must be available for occasional short term interstate and international travel, as we work across Australia and New Zealand.
