This organisation is a highly successful, established provider of products, and services within the healthcare sector. Due to continued growth, they are currently in search of Product Support Engineer to join their national product team based at their head office in Sydney’s South West.
This pivotal role provides support to new product development and existing product improvements through investigation and analysis to maintain our client’s position as a market leader in the medical equipment industry. Responsibilities will include:
- Act as the 1st responder to product warranty and feedback requests
- Investigate and assess requests in order to determine root cause and identify product improvements
- Coordinate product samples and prototypes for expos, trade shows, conferences, customer trials and marketing events
- Attend and support New Product Development meetings
- Support new product presentations
- Ensure product information (descriptions, codes, barcodes etc) is up to date and accurately recorded
- Manage and report on progress of open rectification projects
- Prior relevant experience, or exposure to medical equipment/devices is highly regarded
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Biomedical, Mechanical Engineering or similar
- An enthusiastic self-starter and proactive approach to work
- Possess a positive attitude, inquisitive nature and passion for problem solving
