We are currently seeking experienced fitter fabricators to join our manufacturing team based in Pooraka. If you are a detail-oriented professional that specialises in fitting, fabrication or machining we invite you to apply.
About the Role
Successful applicants will be given responsibilities such as taking on fabrication and assembly projects. The role will involve tasks such as lathe and mill work, cutting, drilling and processing materials, welding and fabricating of light to medium steel sub-structures and components and assembly of products - depending on skill level. This role is best suited to applicants looking for a long term position and opportunities for enhancement and professional growth within an established company.
Successful applicants will need:
- Trade qualifications in Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication or Fitter & Turner.
- Proficient in GMAW, GTAW and MMAW.
- Manual machining experience necessary. CNC experience preferred.
- Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings.
- Attention to detail and ability to creatively solve problems.
- Ability to work to +0.5/-0.5mm tolerances
- Willing to take and pass work performance tests.
