Our client is seeking a dynamic professional to join their team as the Engineering Manager. This leadership role will play a pivotal part in overseeing and optimizing the company's operations, ensuring efficient project management, and contributing to the strategic growth of the company. As the Engineering Manager in our Upstream Drilling EPCM division, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the engineering and design processes, ensuring the seamless integration of projects from conception to completion. The successful candidate will lead a team of skilled engineers and designers, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities:
Leadand mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Provide guidance and support for professional development, ensuring the team remains at the forefront of industry trends and best practices.
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects within scope, budget, and schedule constraints.
Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring successful project outcomes.
Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and understanding of client needs.
Act as a technical advisor, providing expertise and insights to clients on engineering solutions and best practices.
Contribute to the development and implementation of engineering strategies aligned with company goals and industry advancements.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
Ensure the quality and compliance of engineering deliverables with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to uphold the company's reputation for excellence.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, or related field).
Proven experience in a leadership role within the oil and gas industry, preferably in a consulting environment.
Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
In-depth knowledge of oil and gas engineering principles, technologies, and industry standards.
Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in the industry.
