You will also be required to provide accurate and timely input into the engineering components of development applications and undertake technical assessment of civil engineering plans submitted to Council. Additionally, provision of accurate and timely advice on matters relating to Development Engineering. Your contribution to the creation of precise and suitable policies, work practices and procedures and involvement with the preparation and delivery of continuously improving business are also part of this important role.Please to view a full Position Description.What you should have to apply:
- A tertiary qualification (AQF Level 6 or above) in Civil Engineering or progression to attain and demonstrated relevant experience in a development engineering role or similar
- Current drivers’ licence
- Extensive experience in development engineering, civil design, and civil construction inspections
- Extensive experience in interpreting and applying legislation, reading Engineering Technical and development plans and providing advice to both internal and external customers
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to change, learn and share knowledge
