About the position

Ampd Energy is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to oversee the operation and after-sales service of our products in Australia. You will be working under the Service department, managing the tier 1&2 level of support - delivering, installing, training, maintaining, and repairing our products at customer sites by our third-party field engineering partners. You will also be expected to provide the tier 2 level of support (remote and on-site) when escalated. This would include about 30% travel. You will be working closely with the sales team and engineering team to ensure that product reliability and customer experience remains positive. In addition to the main duties, you will assist in managing the overall product design to fit the regulatory requirements of the region sold in. As a Technical Support Engineer, you are expected to demonstrate clear and professional communication to customers about the products.

You will report to the Director of Service and will mainly be working remotely. You are expected to travel around to customer sites Australia where needed, sometimes in off-hours. You will also be expected to make occasional visits to our field warehouse.
