About you
The successful applicant will join the team, focused on providing quality Catholic education, maximising student outcomes by offering a rich, relevant, and holistic curriculum that is student-centred, flexible, and challenging.
This is a temporary full-time position starting Term 2 through until the end of Term 4, 2024. New graduates are invited to apply.
To be successful for this role, you must demonstrate;
- a commitment to Catholic education and a willingness to support the faith formation of students
- capacity to enliven the values of truth, empathy, excellence, curiosity, and collaboration in students with regard to the Mission and Vision of Sydney Catholic Schools
- differentiated pedagogical approaches to teaching and learning
- a willingness to undertake continued professional development and faith formation
- a willingness to assist and lead students in extracurricular activities like sport, performances and exhibitions
- ability to actively support the College’s educational initiatives and promote its innovation in light of the Strategic Plan
- a willingness to undertake leadership mentoring and training from peers and develop and demonstrate strong professional relationships with colleagues.
You will have attained:
- a Tertiary qualification in Education
- eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- an Employee ID registration number with Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) or a commitment to Register to Teach in SCS.
