Position:English Teacher
Location:Brisbane CBD

About the Role: As an English Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality English language instruction to students in Years 7 to 12. You will inspire a love of literature, develop students' critical thinking skills, and cultivate effective communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active student participation and collaboration.
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support their academic growth and development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and curriculum initiatives.
• Participate in school-wide activities and events that contribute to the holistic development of students.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field.
• Queensland College of Teachers registration.
• Specialisation or experience in teaching English at the secondary level preferred.
• Advantageous to have knowledge of the QCAA curriculum and its implementation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of the school.
