What you'll be doing

This is an exciting, once in a career opportunity to join the new statewide workforce pool known as ‘CRU’, the Central Resource Unit (CRU) that will provide nursing and midwifery, allied-health and non-clinical staff to locations across the whole of NSW Health. 

We are looking for Enrolled Nurses to provide person-centered care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse, in a variety of hospital and facility settings, collaborating with individuals and multidisciplinary health care teams.

Where you'll be working

The CRU Enrolled Nurse workforce will be deployed to locations for anywhere between two and thirteen weeks to support short-term staffing needs. You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of health settings when on deployment.

Selection Criteria

• Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Demonstrated experience as an Enrolled Nurse in a clinical setting.
• Understanding of team nursing & demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team.
• Knowledge of patient safety, quality and risk and contribution to organisational quality and safety initiatives.
• Current drivers’ licence with capacity and willingness to travel to NSW Health business and service locations throughout NSW which will include overnight stays in regional / remote areas. These deployments will make up the majority of your time in the position.
