Enrolled Nurse - Outpatient Department

This role will be supported by the NUM and Clinical Care Coordinators across the department with a period of supernumerary time also provided at commencement. There are also regular nursing education sessions to ensure clinical proficiency across the nursing team.

Where you'll be working:

• This position will work Monday- Friday with varying start and finish times between 07:30am – 6:00pm.
• This role will be based in the outpatient clinics at John Hunter Hospital’s Royal Newcastle Centre. Working across many medical and surgical specialties this position will give the successful candidate a chance to further develop clinical skills in a fast paced ambulatory care setting.
• As the largest teaching hospital within Hunter New England, John Hunter Hospital partners with local tertiary training organisations and hosts the HNE Simulation Centre. With the construction of the new Innovation precinct underway – the future at John Hunter Hospital is exciting and opportunities endless.

Requirements and additional information:

• Enrolled Nurse (Medication Endorsed where applicable) with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA.
• An eligibility list will be created for future temporary full or part time vacancies.
• This position is full time; however, part time arrangements will be considered.
