SalaryBushland Health Group Limited is a long standing, community based, not for profit provider of residential aged care in the Manning Valley, on the mid north coast of NSW. We are the largest provider in the area and deliver best practice aged care to 271 residents across 3 homes.
About the Role – What will you do?- As a key member of the nursing team, you will be responsible for delivering direct resident care
- Achieve the highest possible levels of independence and well being for our residents by recommending actions and implementing flexible options for residents
- Ensure care plans are focused on the needs of the resident and detailed outcomes are achievable and consistently met
- Completing formal nursing assessments, coordinating family observations and requirements, and including relevant feedback from other health professionals to develop resident care plans
- Administration of medication in accordance with relevant legislation policy
Skills and Experience – What do you need?
Essential
- Diploma of Nursing or Certificate IV in Aged Care
- COVID-19 Digital Certificate, including booster vaccination
- Flexible availability to work morning and afternoon shifts
- Commitment to contemporary aged care practice with an understanding of the principles of person-centred care and dementia practice
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer literacy
Desired
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and mentor staff to provide quality care outcomes for residents
- Sound knowledge of AN-ACC and experience in resident assessment and care planning
