We are now looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Enrolled Nurse to join our team ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of care.Job DescriptionYour role in our futureIn this role, you will work under the guidance and with the support of a Registered Nurse and will have access to training with performing clinical tasks helping you to increase your capacity working in Clinical Trials. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who desires a new challenge or wants to steer their career into a niche direction.A full list of responsibilities can be found on your job description however some of your duties will include;
- Provide general nursing, monitoring the wellbeing of patients, providing support to family members and liaising with the medical team, and taking appropriate action when necessary;
- Undertake direct patient care including education, and drug administration as per legislative requirements and company policy
- Effectively manage nursing patient load by performing clinical procedures, manage and record adverse events according to the approved protocol and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with the project team and RN's to support the development of accurate task pads and ensure duties are efficiently completed.
- Currently registered with AHPRA (with no restrictions)
- Minimum of 1 year post-graduation experience in an Endorsed Enrolled Nursing position.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- The ability to work as part of a high functioning team whilst taking direction from a Supervising RN.
- Good computer literacy with proficiency in using Google Apps, Word and Excel.
- Previous experience working in oncology or haematology (desirable)
- Clinical research experience (desirable)
