We are recruiting for an Enrolled Nurse to join our team on a casual basis for 2 days per week working 8.30am-5pm with flexible days.
This position is for a Community Care setting. This is not an agency sending staff to various facilities. Work with our clients in their own home.
Pay rate is dependent on experience with an immediate start. A vehicle is provided for this role to travel between clients.
You will be working alongside our Registered Nurse, providing person-centered care to residents in their home, ensuring a safe environment and applying your clinical skills to improving their quality of life through activities that include:
- Contributing to the development, modification, and evaluation of care plans
- Providing clinical assessments
- Visiting client homes to provide nursing care
- Liaising with GPs, care coordinators, RNs and allied health
- Attending to wound dressings
- Administration of medications
- Administration of Catheter care
- Keeping accurate notes and records
You will need:
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Community nursing experience
- Excellent communication and assessment skills
- Knowledge of WHS principles including safe manual handling procedures
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Hold a current NSW drivers’ license
- A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old.
