About the August 2024 Graduate intake
Mater’s Enrolled NurseGraduate Programs offers the opportunity to work in a supportive hospital environment for your first year of nursing, with dedicated Clinical Educators in each speciality allowing you to learn on the job, as you transition from academic learning to professional practice.
The position is offered at 64 hours a fortnight on a permanent basis with the duration of the Graduate Program being 12 months, from here you will transfer into a Registered Nurse post-graduate position. We offer a range of programs, across a variety of clinical areas, including Emergency, Perioperative, Critical Care, Paediatrics, ICU, Cardiac, General Surgical and Acute Medical* and they are offered across Mater Private Hospital Townsville. The program will commence on Monday 19 August 2024.
As part of our nursing staff, you will need to be available to participate in a rotational shift roster (including morning, evening and night shift) on a 24/7 roster.
Salary: $34.84 per hour (EN Level 1) + Superannuation + up to $15,900 salary packaging

- Completed a nursing qualification within the past 12 months and have less than six months or 900 hours post-graduate registered nursing experience
