About the role:
The Multi-Purpose Unit (MPU) is a brand new unit, consisting of mostly medical patients. We have 9 beds in our unit, and 5 telemetry beds. We are a short stay unit, with the aim of having patients discharged in 24 to 72 hours.
As part of your role, you will:
- Deliver and assist in assessing, planning, organising and evaluating quality nursing care to achieve individual clinical outcomes for each patient/client.
- Deliver nursing services for patients/clients in a planned and systematic way that promotes holistic care focussed on the individual patient/client needs and rights.
- Communicate and liaise with health care professionals within the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless continuity of care and service for patients/clients.
Requirements:
- Enrolled Nurse (Medication Endorsed where applicable) with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA.
