About the Opportunity The health services at Clarence has 3 modern health centres that delivers appropriate standards of health care to approximately 1700 inmates from diverse backgrounds and cultures. You will provide primary care based on a patient-centred model allowing patients to actively participate in their health management.
The team works closely with correctional staff to deliver holistic and integrated patient-centred health services that:Provide primary, acute and emergency care based on a patient-centred model allowing custodial patients to actively participate in their health management Deliver holistic and integrated patient-centred health services that treat and prevent communicable disease, and proactively treat chronic disease Assist patients with reintegration back into the community

Administer medications by approved routes, in accordance with legislative requirements under the direct and indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse Undertake dressings, Blood Glucose Level monitoring and other clinical interventions in line with scope of practice
Liaise with the Registered Nurse(s) on duty in relation to patient treatment About you - your ideal skills & experience Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2), with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Minimum of 1-year full-time post graduate experience (or part-time equivalent) Experience in primary health, rural health or emergency nursing (desirable)You do not need to match every listed expectation to apply for this position.
