About the Role:
SALHN has the requirement for experienced enrolled Nurses to join the team in Ward 5A. The ward consists of 26 general beds that may assist with patients transitioning from the Emergency Department to the other respective wards or for general ward care. The Enrolled Nurse supports the Registered Nurse in the provision of person-centred care consistent with regulatory and statutory requirements.
About you:
- Registered or eligible for registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- In order to administer medicines, must have completed a Board-approved program of study which includes an administration of medicines unit.
- Effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
