Position Description
We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Enrolled Nurses to provide care for our clients in the Coomera and northern Gold Coast area.
- Location: Coomera, Gold Coast, Queensland
- Training: Thorough training provided with support on hand
Client Needs:
- Respiratory management
- Seizure management
- Bowel management
- Pain and discomfort management
Role Involves:
- Medication administration
- PEG feeding
- Physical therapy
Given the complexity of support required, the successful candidates will be given extensive training and support.
Start Date & Working Hours
- Immediate Start
- M-F shifts
- Occasional weekend shifts are available
- Overnight support shifts are available
Pay Rates
We offer competitive hourly rates as follows:
- Day Shift: $40.00 per hour
- Afternoon Shift: $44.00 per hour
- Night Shift: $44.80 per hour
- Saturday Shift: $59.40 per hour
- Sunday Shift: $68.88 per hour
- Public Holiday Shift: $78.72 per hour
Responsibilities
As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for:
- Providing high-level complex coordinated care and support
- Conducting health checks
- Assisting with personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming
- Collaborating effectively within a dynamic team
- Thriving in a complex work environment
- Demonstrating autonomy and collaboration as needed
- Delivering person-centred care with dignity, respect, and compassion
Required Skills & Experience
To be considered for this position, you should possess:
- Australian Driver's License
- Equivalent Qualification in Nursing
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current NDIS Worker Screening
- Current First Aid / CPR Certificate
- Immunisation History Statement (evidence of COVID vaccinations)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Reliability, proactivity, and a positive attitude
