Form of workMolechex Skin Cancer & Melanoma Clinic is looking for an experienced RN or EN to work across our multiple location clinics.
Located with in close distance to Brisbane City, Molechex is focused on providing exceptional care to our patients in an uplifting environment.
The role is of a casual basis at first with a view of full time employment for the right candidate. Hours of work are between 7.30am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday . This role would be to work at Carindale, Coorparoo and Annerley Clinics. No shift or weekend work.
Our clinics are conveniently located close to public transport.
About The Role
We are looking to recruit a Registered/Enrolled Nurse in our thriving clinic.
Your main objective in this role will be to provide assistance to the medical practitioners of the clinic and a high level of aftercare to the patients.
Experience highly regarded, however, training available.
Experience with the following would be advantageous:
- Assisting Doctors with Excisions and Procedures
- Suture Removals
- Dressings and Wound Care
- Sterilisation and Infection Control
- Making appointments and surgery bookings
- Patient Education
- Stock Control
- Briefing and debriefing patients on treatment and procedures
- Maintaining the needs of our patients throughout procedures
- Completing and maintaining patient documentation
- Keep surgery and consulting rooms thoroughly clean
- File and medical record transfers
- Taking phone calls and attending to enquiries when needed
- Patient Billing & booking appointments when needed
Must be available to work flexible hours.
About You
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Enrolled/ RegisteredNurse (Skin Cancer clinic or General Practice experience preferable)
- Knowledge and experience using Best Practice software ideal but not a must
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Professionally presented
- An energetic and enthusiastic can-do attitude
- Available to work flexible hours
